With only 6 weeks to design and produce an entirely new broadcast package for the PBC, we knew we had a limited amount of time to come up with an idea that suited the ferociousness of the sport, but that also felt new and contemporary.

THE PILLARS

We established that 5 creative pillars would be the backbone of the package, the guides for our creation.

All elements that can combine elegance with ruggedness, embodying the PBC and boxing.

ADDING SOME ELECTRICITY

Our primary colours were set within the pillars: blacks, whites, greys, and golds would be the cornerstone of each element. But we needed some vibrancy, something unexpected. In come the electric flashes of our secondary palette.

These bright pops of light, reflection, and impact would help increase the fun of the package without detracting from the seriousness of the main event.

ADAPTING THE INSERTS

Building an insert package identity in under a month is not a small feat!

Our Insert team relied heavily on the DNA created for the on-air graphics to build a look that was rugged, but highly legible. It needed to cover all the bases of a premium boxing broadcast, while also being highly adaptable for future fights.

Being onsite in Las Vegas for the launch of the new package, our team was able to build new templates on the fly and train the operators in a fraction of the normal testing peroid.
